Curatorial interpretation
A golden vertical panel with black line forms is framed by bands of small squares and a black-and-white checkerboard. The mood is ceremonial, framed and bright. Forms that recall monuments, discs, vessels and ornament are built patiently from small marks, giving the surface a devotional, almost ritual rhythm. The work suggests how cultural memory can survive as pattern and shape. Outside the main exhibition route, it belongs to the Explore All 60 Works collection and is best seen alongside its related works in the Sacred Memory / Cultural Geometry group.
